Mad Rush!

I purchased this app last week for .99¢ and it has become one of the funnest and most replayed games in my ipad library! It is a racing game with amazing graphics and uses the gyro-motion of an ipad to steer. The main character NOOP is a brave rabbit trying to outrace 10 invaders claiming to be the fastest.
I finally beat this game today by beating STORM who is a vader look-a-like with a single star (bronze) and got to see the end scene that lets me know there is an update coming soon!
To be continued....

I took a pic of my final score that says I am 15th in overall players (worldwide) :-)

Star Trek CCG

Here are some pics of my old Star Trek CCG box that was saved from being sold @ a garage sale we had last week :-)
I drew 2 custom Starfleet personnel officers that consist of my own personal comic characters (Pawn and Anna) and an event card.

Wooden Bear

I posted this wooden bear a month ago (?) on BGDF. I enjoy this piece a lot and might make a few more bears when I have more time :-)

Nitro Dice

I finally received my copy of Nitro Dice last weekend and got to play a few games with 3 of my friends. It took us a while to get the rules down and get the motion of the game going correctly; but I was quite pleased with my purchase. I have been anticipating this game because:
1. I am a fellow BGDF'er and like to support other members and there works. (Kudos to you DRALIUS for getting your game published!)
2. the look of the game is well done and when I saw the physical packaging I was impressed (this is my first minion-games, game)
3. I like the d10 mechanic! I think it was clever to represent the players and there current speed on a d10.
The game is pretty fun and plays fast; my only nit-pick is that I wished there were extra hazards (on seperate tokens) so you could throw them right in front of another player who is too far ahead and slow them down. But that's just my 2 ¢ents to an already great game :-)

JETPACK JOYRIDE

Having just received an iPad 2 for my birthday (2 weeks ago), I am addicted to several game apps but none more than JETPACK JOYRIDE!
This is an awesome app that became available on April 1st and is super fun and addicting! It is only .99¢ and I recommend getting the counterfeit coin upgrade for another .99¢ (this doubles every coin received in the game). It is super useful, as it helps you purchase all those diferrent jetpacks, clothes, vehicle upgrades much faster.
I am currently on my second cycle through the game and have one more achivement to go (i am 29/30); the Angry Wings achievment that requires you to get the profit bird vehicle twice in one game.
I cannot wait for any future DLC for this game, i rate it a solid 5 stars :-D

Baby Shower - Saturday 8/27/11

Today my fiancee Stacey had a babyshower for our little boy that is due in late november :-)
I am very eager to meet my son and with the sudden arrival of baby clothes, toys, blankets, and other goodies, I am more than ever settling into daddy mode :-)

Here are some pics that I took with my camera phone of the first and second ultra-sound from a few months ago:

Here is the first picture of the little bean :-D

Here is a pic from the second ultra-sound when we found out our baby was a boy!

Here is a pic of my favorite toy that is waiting for him....a really soft and cuddly sheep.

Camera Phone Pics - August 2011

Here are some camera phone pics that have been sitting in my phone for a while.

Here is a pic of a banner I saw @ Bravo earlier this month...I ate 3 crunchy tacos that Thursday :-) Mmm-mmm Bravo!

My b-day present from my nieces Makayla & Sydney. Thank You Girls :-D

Here is a pic of the second racer, Highway Hank standing side by side with Jonas Danger; that I made for my new board game called Pocket Racers.
It is a slow process this time around because I have a lot on my plate right now (planning wedding and taking care of my pregnant fiancee). But I am enjoying the results of these latest Peg-O's.

Here are two stamps that I found in the dollar bin @ Michael's the Craft Store. I just had to pick them up.

Skully & Mommar :-D

My friend (Gil) bought the card game "Space Hulk" and I immediately got hooked and tracked down the two expansion sets that I found on ebay. I can't wait to play again with the added cards. It plays just as brutal as the board game (the nids win alot!), but it is fun. I rated this card game an 8 on the BGG.

This is my new favorite toy! An iPad 2 that I got on my b-day from my Stacey, her mom (Jane), Tiff and Chris. Thanks a bunch! I really, REALLY, love my new toy!

Camera Phone Pics

I was looking online today for a mini RC car or mini RC helicopter and wondered, "how come they dont make a hybrid racing car/copter?" It would be awesome to be racing with a friend through and obstacle course where half is race track and half is flight obstacles :-D
Or if you're race car should happen to take a tumble off a table or dirt path, you can fly it away to safety. Think Geek needs to make one of these already!!!

Here are some camera pics that I took this week:

Here is a wooden diorama made with pegs of an asian castle/temple/village that I made to help out a fellow BGDF'er.

I just recently found this old post-it containing the original art design for my 3 T.O.W. custom D12

Our church is currently being tented for termites, as you can see by this picture I took today as we drove by

This is Jewel (named by my little niece makayla) she is one of two new puppies from Libby's litter. She is a sweet puppy and is a good lap dog. Her sister "Daisy" (named by my other niece Sydney) is more playful and can't sit still long enough for me to take a good picture of her!

This pic has been in my camera for a while. I took it @ KublaCon this year and its a racing game called Carabande. You flick your wooden disc (car) across a track in turn sequence trying not to roll off or flip over. It was probably the funnest thing I played @ Kubla this year :-)

Farseer Om

This is Farseer Om of the O'mavi craftworld. He is rockin' a singing spear and side pistol.

A =W= symbol sits on his left shoulder :-D

Perler Art Cont'd...

Here is some more perler art that I have been working on this week. I have been toying with the idea of making a short ashcan comic with perler art.

This is the GC perler coaster set 1.

This is me and my dog Seb :-)

Some standard 8-bit weapons

Some 8-bit space weapons

A combi-pistol/chainsaw weapon

Some health, money, ammo, and ally tokens

I found a shotgun!

I originally made this as a shotgun effect, but it is too big. I might have to make a flame-thrower to go with this

I found this tinkerbell template online and made it for my Stacey :-)

Danno 8-bit perler

Here is a quick mock-up of the 8-bit perler I would like to make for my friend Danno (for his grad party today). His BBQ is later today, and I plan on bringing him this perler piece along with some grey goose vodka :-D

Congratulations Danno!

Edit: Here are the pics of the perler 8-bit Little Danno, that I made for him :-D

Meanie!!!

Winner of many Wrestlemania 2000 and No Mercy matches on the N64, its....Lil Meanie! This is the only drawing I ever did of my wrestling character, and I drew him in strange brown civvies.

He was supposed to be an apprentice of the Blue Meanie :-D
Drawn around 02.

Old B&W Drawings from 1996 - 2004

These drawings are from 1996 - 2004? Back in those days, I wanted to be a comic book artist, and found an amazing group of friends in high school who shared this dream with me. We would spend several hours after school just drawing away and listening to good music. (=W=) :-D

This was a scratch art piece I did back in 96.

97 or 98, this is an unfinished pencil drawing of a comic book featuring The Midnight Hopper!

A filler page I did for a friend maybe around 2002? This one features Beth-Widow!

2003 or 04? This was a splash page featuring a story about Feather Fall!

Camera Phone - Pics

Here are 5 pics from my camera phone of projects that I was working on, or am working on, and my dog Seebee of course.

I like taking pictures of my work while in progress. This is an old pic of Field Medic SilkyKay having her arms attached and my messy Workshop in the background.

This is a pic of Seebee this past winter with his hoodie keeping him warm :-)

A sketch I did for my friend Danno of his girlfriend Melanie. He was supposed to make a perler version of this.

Space Cadet Seb and his Citrus Gaze Attack!!!

A sneak peek of a painted Nato for our new upcoming project: Pocket Brawlers!
