CUSTOM OCTONAUTS - OCTOPOD!

For my sons 2nd birthday I made him a custom Octonauts Octopod cake topper made mostly out of wood, some wire, beads, and modeling clay (aka green stuff).

Most of the materials came from Michael's the craft store except for the "green stuff" that can be found at any hobby store that carries warhammer 40k minis.

It was pretty easy to assemble; the toughest part being the paint job. Most of my WH40k paints are dried up so I used BASICS paint from michael's. It took several coats to get it where I wanted it as these paints were not meant for this (even with the primer it took about 4 - 5 coats of paint!) :-/

But the end result came out pretty nice and my son enjoyed his Octopod and his cake looked great :-)

The chocolate cake was baked by his grandma Jane. My wife Stacey decorated the cake, and clay Peso & Kwazii were made by my good friend Renee :-D

MELTDOWN by BulkyPix

I purchased this game Thursday night and I haven't been able to put it down! This game is an easy 5 stars as it has great 4 player co-op and tons of skills to earn and several weapon to upgrade.

Our hero, "ZED" has arrived on a planet where the A.I. has malfunctioned and it's up to him to grind through 30 floors destroying several different robots, tanks, and flyers with his large arsenal of weapons.

One of my favorite mechanics of the game is the melee weapon (can be upgraded too) that is excellent for striking a cornered enemy or an enemy that has been knocked off it's feet.

The game has a few bugs in it, that the Devs are aware of that will be addressed in a future update; but that didn't keep me from grinding through the game nonstop!

This game costs a mere $1.99 on the App Store and I recommend everyone buy it!

Below is a screen shot of a boss that will be coming soon and I can't wait to take it on :-)

Pixel Of The Day :-D

The first sketch my buddy Gil ever drew for my board game 3 TOURS OF WAR, was of a soldier joyfully holding up an active landmine.
This is the pixel version of that sketch ;-)
